It is essential to our life in God to experience times of refreshing and renewal. Sometimes we just need to quiet ourselves, and choose the “one thing” of sitting at Jesus’ feet. The goal of the Women’s Adventure Weekend is to provide a safe and God-centered atmosphere for you to experience the very real presence of God. Building on each session, God reveals the truth of His love that will bring freedom, healing, and revitalize your relationship with Him. This experience will impact your life and family for generations to come! The sessions are filled with deep truth, personal stories, fun interaction, fellowship, and reflection time. Hundreds of women’s lives have been touched and changed as a result of setting aside time to meet with God at the Women’s Adventure Weekend.

Here are just a few of the testimonies:

~ At the Adventure Weekend I was able to receive God’s abundant love! He set me free from lies I’ve dealt with my entire life! He showed me the truth instead of those lies and that I can be exactly who God made me!

~ Through the speakers I realized I’d roped off some of my heart thinking this issue was just too hard or painful and without realizing it had tucked it away into a room called hopeless. I discovered once again the God of hope and opened the door to let Him in. Thank you so much. It is very difficult to express my heart on how thankful and blessed I was.

~ I was touched by God on many levels. The team of women were filled up with God and it permeated everything we did. They eagerly and joyfully worked, and I thought many times that this is a true picture of how the body of Christ should work. The atmosphere was so inviting and peaceful, our hearts were able to receive to the fullest.

~ After my divorce I felt broken and not worthy, I asked God a lot of questions that I was not getting answers to. Going to the adventure weekend really helped me because God showed me his unconditional love, he showed me he was the only one I needed to fill the void in my heart, and that he was with me no matter what. The testimonies were amazing and a true blessing. Seeing how God has worked his miracles in these women’s lives made me understand a lot of things and gave me hope. The presence of The Lord was so strong that I felt comfort and I heard him speak to me for the first time, his words were “come my child I am here you don’t have to be afraid anymore I will take care of you’ it was so comforting to hear that. I didn’t feel worthy of his love, but I as I sat there I could hear him say come to me, and I went up and asked Jesus to be my Savior! Now I’m eager to find out what God is going to do with me!

~ Through this weekend, I saw many women brought to a place of grace and freedom. I saw again how His grace leads us to know that His love covers a multitude of sins, which in turn brings us to a greater understanding that we love much for we’ve been forgiven much (Luke 7:47).

~ God has used this Weekend to set me free. I feel freer than ever! Before I came I felt shame and condemnation. I was engulfed in pride, but no longer. I am free. There is no more condemnation! I can shout it from the housetops. Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

“One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek Him in His temple.” Psalm 27:4

The Men’s and Women’s Adventure Weekends were established in Colorado Springs in 2002. Since 1998, the leaders have served and helped lead over 40 powerful, life-changing Weekends.
