TapOut Prison Ministry

TapOut is a ministry to the Cheyenne Mountain Re-Entry Center (CMRC). CMRC is a Level 3 private prison contracted to the Colorado Department of Corrections. The Offenders, also called Residents, are on their last cycle before being released back into society.

TapOut Ministry is held every Saturday and Monday nights from 7pm to 9 pm inside the CMRC facility. We preach and teach a Life Application theme based on the Bible. We have praise and worship, provided by CMRC’s own praise band. We also provide one on one and corporate ministry in prayer, healing, and the Life Application of the Word. It is a very laid-back atmosphere with sincere men seeking God’s redemption and the fellowship of the body of believers.

Special Events: TapOut Presents an annual event called “Summer Yard Jam” where some 400 to 600 inmates/offenders participate in a time of music, worship, preaching, and one on one ministry in the CMRC Yard. This event also allows TapOut to re-introduce the ministry to the new population at CMRC. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 21st featuring special guest speaker, Adam Field. TapOut also sponsors the Annual Christmas Celebration inviting all faiths to join together for this wonderful occasion to present the Gospel Truth in a celebratory fashion.
